Description Experienced CNC Miller Required
Applicants must have extensive CNC MIlling experience Ideally Programming experience with Heidenhain, Mazatrol,Fanuc or Fagor Universal - vertical machining centres and flexible with regards to working Current position is for day shift 8.15 am to 17.00pm 39 hours per week
Experience in setting Universal Vertical & Horizontal machines essential. Knowledge of Heidenhain, Fanuc or Seimens would be an advantage. If you are a self motivated and flexible team player with an eye for detail, you may be interested in joining this friendly company.
Job Details Job Title: CNC Milling Machine Programmer/Setter/Operator
Department: Machine Shop
Main Purpose of Job: To effectively interpret route cards, programme and operate CNC machines and produce a quality end product in a timely fashion.
Responsible to: Machine Shop Manager via Machine Shop Supervisor
Main Duties:
1. Programming of Universal vertical & horizontal milling CNC machines in line with information provided on drawings and route cards.
2. Set & run CNC machines and ensure smooth operation.
3. Ensure quality of all machined work and bring any problems or potential problems to the attention of the Supervisor or Machine Shop Manager.
4. Provide support to other members of the Machine Shop as required.
5. To become competent in the application of any new technology introduced into the machine shop.
6. To familiarise & instruct present and new operators in both existing and new applications.
7. Practise good housekeeping at all times.
8. Operate in line with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy at all times.

THE ROLE:
Working for an established and still growing company, you will be using a range of machine tools,

Using your experience as a skilled fitter you will be working on new builds - refurbishment and new design on a range of engineering components on food processing machinery and internal production machinery.

Ideally you will have completed an engineering apprenticeship that is now a skilled/ fitter and is familiar with a variety of machinery.
